Magnet Hockey emerges from a desire to enhance the classic Air Hockey experience with a more engaging and competitive format. This game offers players the opportunity to aim for their opponent's circular goal by skillfully striking the ball with a mallet.
At the start of each round, three magnets appear in the center of the play area. Players are tasked with launching two or more of these magnets towards their opponent to secure a round victory. This mechanic introduces unique strategic elements, as both goals and mallets attract nearby magnets, allowing for multiple pathways to success within each round.
Magnet Hockey is designed to be fast-paced and rewarding, demanding skillful play from both participants. Players can choose between "Standard Mode" and "Repulsion Mode" – the latter features a protective outer field around the mallets that repels slowly moving magnets, adding an additional layer of strategy.
As a two-player game, Magnet Hockey emphasizes competitive interaction, making it a thrilling addition to any game night.
